Great information. I’ve seen a dog get hit in the head when the owner let go of the leash by mistake.

I feel like the picture attached to the leash that shows someone’s fingers being torn off should be enough to keep sane people away from them. I prefer a leash lopped over my wrist. It feels more secure than my poor arthritic fingers trying to hold the tiny handle that flexi-leashes provide.

Unfortunately, friends who have used retractable leashes had more problems than not. Many injuries to the humans.
