It is nice to see a more accepting view. I’m hopeful but not convinced that things are moving in the right direction. I’m afraid there is a lull in the storm and another front is on the horizon.

I was pleased to see that at least a few young people were becoming aware. The true hero to me here is the girl who dated to speak up. The comments on the story – some were just off the wall!

Thank you for forwarding a story that truly shares my own feelings about racism and calling out people because they are different than we are. It’s time for people to get down off their pedestals and come together before we lose democracy and freedoms in our country! I will be re-blogging this so more people can read it!

I was hoping people will read this. I may not agree with everything the author says but if we can’t find some common ground we’re not going to survive.

Interesting that last statement…..how do they expect them to learn how to be critical thinkers and to govern themselves….answer being THEY DON’T.
