Tomorrow I’m getting a shot in my hip. I switched doctors after talking to my family doctor, he referred me to a different neurosurgeon and that doctor sent me to pain management as the first step to resolving my back and hip issues. I’m not thrilled with the idea of another shot, the last one in my back was an epic fail, but I’m hopeful – this guy seems to have more of a clue than my previous doctor. I loved her, and she was great, but I got the feeling she gave up on me once the last round of shots made things worse.
Fresh eyes, fresh approach, new ideas. I’m praying. If you have a minute, send one up for me – this pain is exhausting and I’m tired of myself. I’m tired of being a crabby old woman.
In other news, there really isn’t any other news. Updates will be forthcoming!
Prayers being said

You’ve been on my mind a lot. Will be praying for good results! (Did they hive you an idea how long it might take to see a difference?) ❤️🩹

Thank you. They didn’t give me a time line, I have questions that I’ll ask before the procedure and that’s one of them

I am praying that this new approach is just what your body needs to maybe send you into a new phase of not-so-crabby! And maybe some relief so you can heal would be an added bonus! Miracles do happen ❤

Is it a steroid shot? My sister who had been treated for years for EDS said her neurosurgeon told her the shots are not good for EDS because they loosen things up which is a problem for EDS, and I believe she told me that the steroid will after a while destroy the cartilage between bones. That can’t be good. If it’s just a pain shot and not steroid it might be a nice help. Ask your dr about steroid shots and EDS.

It was steroid for bursitis in my hip. I will ask about EDS but I know a few people who heve that and I don’t think I do.
