Wow I think he’s made wonderful progress, he seems to like performing the tricks (or maybe it’s the treats :P, but even still it doesn’t seem he’s struggling with it at all!!! All your hard work is paying off!!!

He has performance anxiety when in public – but he’s great at home! This was another one for the title

Well I’d say he’s doing really well!!!

Thank you. We’re working on the next title- one trick at a time!

That’s exactly how you do it, one trick at a time. He’ll have all his titles before you know it! :).

The last tricks title requires a dance routine- he can do it but I don’t know about me! 😂

haha you need to do your part of the routine like I do my exercises, I have a tape I exercise to and they have a low, med and high level, I use the low level and still have to do it half time lol. Maverick can do the routine on high level and you can tell them you are doing it on low level so he can shine, lol.

If only it were that easy!!! You actually have to create a routine and there are specific things that have to be included. Him leaping over me is not in our foreseeable future!

Could he leap through your arms?

Wow that’s amazing! Lily is trained to roll over too but she doesn’t consistently do it! Also she is really scared of the clicker lol it’s too loud i think!

Use your voice with her. She’ll get consistent soon

You should have seen us tonight – trying to teach paws up on a target. He turned into a jack rabbit 😂😂

Golden Retrievers are known for bringing the party to every event. Maverick is determined to live up to that reputation!

Yay! Congratulations Maverick! Geordie would never roll the whole way over. He would go half way, then back the same way. After a while he won, and I just gave up.

He does one side better than the other. I think next I’ll try to teach him to play dead. We worked on paws up last night- I’ll have to video tonight’s session

Can’t wait to see more training videos!
All the little kids liked the way I taught Geordie to play dead. He started in the begging position, then I would blow a raspberry, and he would fall to the ground and roll onto his side.

One of our instructors would just point her finger and her dog would flop over. But if she made a sound, nope!
